Secure development · Front-end

Problem: Make food and restaurant discovery easier for people with dietary preferences.
Contribution: Co-built the full-stack app in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP, delivering 12+ user-facing features as front-end engineer.
Result: Patched SQL injection, XSS and input-validation weaknesses, and debugged 30+ issues across the stack.

Development notes

BiteSwipe grew from a class project into a passion project and is now being revamped. Finding and patching weaknesses I'd introduced myself was humbling and useful. The security fixes weren't glamorous, but they mattered most.

Demo Enterprise Network

Infrastructure · Real Cisco hardware

Problem: Design a segmented network with controlled communication between network segments.
Contribution: Led the design and physical build using Catalyst 2960 and 3560 switches, VLANs, ACLs and routing.
Result: Isolated each VLAN with controlled communication paths to reduce lateral-movement risk.

Network configuration

The network was configured for security, scalability and resilience, with secure inter-VLAN communication, redundancy and high-availability concepts. The build used VLANs 10, 20 and 30 on Cisco Catalyst 2960 and 3560 switches.
